About the Opportunity
Do you have what it takes to join our team as one of our Front of House team members? We are looking for people who are dynamic and driven who will help ensure our customers experience our famous hospitality when visiting our restaurants in Newcastle!
Unlike many roles in hospitality, our roles do not include late night working giving a rare and much sought after, work life balance.
Our Front of House team members enrich our customers' experience whilst dining with us, ensuring our customers leave with a lasting impression. The teams provide authentic and natural service, working together to ensure the restaurant is clean and tidy and sharing knowledge of the menu with customers.
We are currently recruiting for the following restaurants with contracts ranging from 6 - 36.5 hours per week:
- The Terrace
- Mason & Rye
- Fuego
- Hjem at Fenwick
- Fred's
- EL&N
- Exciting new developments and Christmas pop-up offerings
Christmas is our busiest time of the year, so you will need to be fully flexible and available Monday through Sunday.
Please note that our roles in Mason & Rye and The Terrace are not eligible for service charge.
About the Candidate
We look for warm and welcoming people, who are adaptable, courageous, innovative, and goal-orientated to join us on this journey. As well as these key characteristics, this role also requires some specific skills and experience to succeed…
- A proven track record in a customer-facing role within a similar business is desirable, but not essential
- Adaptable to changing demands and able to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates a passion for the hospitality industry and a willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills are essential for this role
You will be invited to one of our Get to Know Fenwick experience days at a time that suits you to gain a valuable insight into the role and our business.
Our temporary Food Service Assistants will join us in September/October. You'll start working with us as soon as you are available, with most contracts ending late December.
All contracts will require you to be available evenings, weekends and over the festive period including Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day (depending on your rota).
